HELLO - MY NAME IS TOM REYNOLDS

When the ACBL canceled the Columbus NABC, I decided to try and put together a large, Double Elimination, Vanderbilt style knock out to be played at bridgebase.com.  Reynolds' Team Matches was born.  I hope you enjoy.

I was Life Master 10718 in 1969 but took many years off from playing the game.  Life got in the way of playing much bridge.  My vocation was that of an engineer and business owner.  My avocation is that of a Pastor at two convalescent homes in the Los Angeles, California area.  This keeps me busy and limits my weekend bridge.

I care mostly about playing bridge teams events against the very best.  You might encounter me at the table at the USBF Trials, the Spingold, or the Vanderbilt but rarely ever in a match point event.  In the early 60's I started out playing Neapolitan Club that morphed into what is now called Precision.  These days I play a super light opening, forcing diamond system.  My bridgebase handle is tomreynold.

I have been playing bridge for over 50 years.  I took several years off for family and work. I have two children and four wonderful granddaughters.  They don’t play bridge yet, but they are all super softball players. I have been a professional computerist for forty years.  My education was in physics, applied mathematics, and business administration.

I’ve finished in the overalls in the WBF Rosenblum Teams, the National Open Swiss, Senior Swiss, and Mixed BAM. My bridgebase handle is mmbridge.
